I Am Stuck in Grand Rapids

. . . because Grand Rapids is stuck on me.

United Airlines aka Satan's Chariot moved my flight back by an hour so when the Rothbury staff van dropped me off at the airport, I had already missed my flight. No SMS, no email, no nothing. About 10 passengers stranded (according to the United ticketing agent), and with tens of thousands leaving Rothbury today, I thought I was stuck until tomorrow. But that, my friends, is a lesson in why you should book with a travel agent! Angela Martin has helped me and my family out with great travel support and advice for over 10 years (she also planned my honeymoon in Hawaii). She was on the line with United, and had me rebooked into a first class seat within 30 minutes. Way to go, Angela!

Oh, and I'm guessing that President Ford was a native of Grand Rapids. Puny statue, though, dude.
